Caeli Harman is a rising oil painter, illustrator and creative writer. Recently graduated from Taylor University with a BFA in Illustration, Caeli has already shown in four galleries, received multiple awards in both art and writing, and has painted several public murals in two different states.  

 

In the fall of 2023, Caeli worked to write and illustrate the story of how she came to know Jesus, titled From Out of the Deep. Beginning with a draft of 46 pages, the project grew into a graphic novel of 112 pages. Entirely illustrated by hand, the book was independently printed for her senior show in the spring of 2025. Through Instagram and the traction created at her senior show, she has sold 34 copies. As interest continues to grow, she expects to sell more.

Outside of book illustration, Caeli spends her time growing her body of work, In Search of the Garden, a collection of oil paintings exploring our identity in Christ.

 

Based out of Southern WI, Caeli enjoys days spent at her studio on her family farm with the cows and rolling green hills. When she is not painting away, she can regularly be found in a local coffee shop chatting with strangers and enjoying a good cup of coffee.
